THANK YOU to all who have supported the Missouri Veterans Stories program with notes of encouragement to your Missouri legislators. Due in large part to your voice, we are pleased to report that the House and Senate have restored funding at previous levels in their budget. Even in these tough economic times we are pleased to report the Governor Nixon has upheld the funding for this program. This result is a testament to the wise bipartisan leadership of our State. It is a recognition by our State Legislators and Elected officials that we are in A RACE AGAINST TIME and THAT NO STORY SHOULD BE LEFT BEHIND.

Spearheaded by the Office of Lt. Governor Peter Kinder, the Missouri Veteran Stories project honors Missouri’s military veterans by capturing their stories on DVD, to be preserved for future generations.
